Description | (Language) learning is a highly individual process that is shaped by many personality-related dispositions of the learner. Dealing with all these individual specifics of the learner while learning has become a challenge in contemporary foreign language didactics. Closely related to this is the pursuit of one of the primary goals of foreign language teaching, namely the development of the competence for autonomous learning that takes individual specifics into account. Following this, it is the task of foreign language didactics to illuminate those paths that could contribute to the efficient development of autonomous learning. Based on the above, the poster is intended to present the research design and selected results of a study that dealt with the promotion of self-evaluation as a possible way to develop the competence for autonomous learning and thus for better foreign language learning itself. |
