Description | The paper studies the features of the functioning of the linguoculturological basis when using transformed phraseological units (PU) in Russian and Czech texts of the medial discourse. Despite the fact, that the linguoculturological approach is not popular in Czech linguistics, the analysis of transformed PU in both languages shows that in terms of semantics and structure, both national-cultural and national-historical components are often identified in them. That is, PU through either a concept (denotation) or indirectly (through the correlation of an image with the stereotypes of a particular culture) contain cultural information about the world and society. |
