Description | This review aims to map the state of the art in vocabulary learning and acquisition in pairs within the foreign language classroom. The contribution presents the research from abroad included in the international database Scopus in the range of the last twelve years, concerning acquisition and vocabulary learning (in pairs). Selected quantitative and qualitative studies present the areas that are paid attention to within the acquisition and vocabulary learning concepts. Studies focused on vocabulary learning in pairs emphasize the positive influence of implementing activities focused on vocabulary in pairs. Some of them point out the importance of the teacher selecting pairs. |
