Description Comics are very popular cultural artifacts among the current generation of pupils and students. The paper therefore aims to focus on its possible involvement in the teaching of literature at secondary schools. The introduction will describe the position of comics in mandatory curricular documents. Subsequently, the function of comics as a teaching aid will be shown, as well as the possible potential of using various comic book adaptations in teaching, as well as possible variants and keys on how to involve original comic books in the teaching of literature. In the end, the outlined theoretical possibilities will be confronted with the feedback obtained from experienced high school teachers.
