Description The author presents partial results of the analysis of ethical aspects in the work of Egon Bondy. Bondy's apocalyptic environmental warnings, the contradiction between self-realization and the social situation, as well as the rationale for the transhumanist vision of man grounded in the biological roots of evil are reflected. Can an evil human-creator forge a good post-biological cultural successor? Does Bondy’s focus on post-biological intellectuality indicate his indifference towards human’s biological life? Which elements of Marxism still persist in Bondy’s thinking and to what extent are these in compliance with his eastern holistic orientation? The author systematizes elements of Bondy's ethical thinking in his dramatic, fictional and theoretical work and compares them with his current reflection in the Czecho-Slovak philosophical environment.
