Description The aim of this publication is to present the results of monitoring the activity and positivity of Ixodes ricinus ticks in the Brno agglomeration of the Brno-Pisárky forest park for dangerous pathogenic microorganisms. The monitored pathogens are Borrelia burgdorferi sensu lato, Anaplasma phagocytophilum, Coxiella burnetii, Erhlichia chaffensis and Francisella tularensis. At the same time, factors (especially temperature) that could influence tick activity at this site are being monitored. Materials and methods: Ticks were catched at this site using the flagging method. Positivity of ticks was determined by PCR (polymerase chain reaction) followed by gel electrophoresis. Results: Between March and November 2021, 563 individuals were collected at this site, with the highest proportion of nymphs (85%). The positivity rate for the pathogen Bbsl was 5.6% and for the pathogen Anaplasma phagocytophilum 2.4%. The occurrence of Coxiella burnetii, Ehrlichia chaffensis and Francisella tularensis was confirmed at this site. Conclusion: The site was found to be infested with the pathogens Bbsl and Anaplasma phagocytophilum. However, the positivity in Brno-Pisárky is lower compared to other Brno sites
