| Description | The paper focuses on Marian theme in selected prose works from girl´s cycle of Jaroslav Durych. The figure of the woman is a well-known issue in the work of the author in question, yet there is a lack of analysis of an even more narrowly conceived understanding of the woman in Durych's work, namely the theme of Marianism, which this paper reveals in the novellas Daisy, God's Rainbow and Soul and Star. The Marian motifs of the selected novellas are also compared with each other. |
