Description The paper is focused on distance education for students of pedagogical disciplines of universities. The theoretical part deals with distance education for university students during a pandemic and hybrid teaching as a current trend in the education of university students. The empirical part of the paper describes distance education from the perspective of students. The obtained data are compared with the case study by Zelníčková, Vorel & Sládek (2021), which compared the results of students and members of the customs administration in distance learning.
