Description The article summarises the results of pilot research conducted in the Primary school teacher training study programme, which revealed that explicit pragmatics instruction contributes to student’ confidence about writing and that students themselves have a positive attitude to it. However, the pilot study revealed the need of research design and respondents modifications, which are also described in this article.
