| Description | Project day (seminar) for teachers with a presentation of subjects working in film and audiovisual education and its techniques. Participants will receive an offer from selected organizations and programs for film-educational, methodical, continuous but non-violent education that the field currently offers educators, including practical exercises that can be used in teaching (F/AV classes, art or music education, computer science, etc.). The project day will offer materials and experiences of domestic organizations, children's film festivals operating in the Czech Republic, and programs implemented in schools throughout Europe. The program will be conducted by experts in film education from the organizations ASFAV, CinEd, Zlín Film Fest, Aeroškola, Animánie. The project day follows the Cinema behind the School 2023 conference, held as part of the 63rd ZLÍN FILM FESTIVAL and the professional program of the Children without Borders? conference. Accreditation of the Ministry of Education and Culture's educational seminar within the DVPP is ensured by the CinEd program. 14:20-15:30 MOBILE PHONE and its use in film and audiovisual education / Aeroškola (Šimon Kříž) The so-called you certainly use a smartphone, a smartphone, both for photography and for recording short videos. This is also done by students who already usually own it. So the question is how to use this fact appropriately for work at school. Our workshop will demonstrate the advanced possibilities of using this tool for cinematographic work. We will show different procedures and appropriate tools that are good to use for their processing. We will also familiarize you with the so-called post-production process. You will also learn about the possibilities of animation using a smartphone. The only thing you need to have with you is a mobile phone, a cable for downloading files. Scala Studio lecturer and art teacher Šimon Kříž, a long-time and experienced film and audiovisual lecturer and a graduate of the Department of Art Education at the MU Faculty of Education, will organize the event. OBJECTIVES: Participants will get an overview of the possibilities of education in film education and the offer of materials, resources and support. Part of the program will be the participants' reflection on the need to implement film education in schools and the possible innovation of activities for the needs of the class collective. Participants will gain a basic understanding of why and how to teach film, what methodology for working with film can be chosen by a complete layman, and how to carry out analysis or synthesis with individual components; they will learn about the existence of film language, linking it with other art subjects using specific examples of the film band from Beginnings of cinematography, they will use the so-called smartphone to acquire competences for cinematography work. They will understand the various procedures and suitable tools for processing mobile phone videos, including the so-called post-production process; they will get to know the possibilities of animation and the construction of a story, which they will try out in practice. |
