Description Guerilla geography, or exploratory geography, is a method of examining and perceiving the surrounding landscape around us. It can also be used in education, especially in fieldwork, where it brings pupils or students a new perspective on the environment in which they live. We are using Guerilla geography as a method for collecting data in the field, with which students then work further. In the didactics of geography at the Faculty of Education, MUNI, data is used to identify surroundings and think more broadly about landscape use. If the exploration is regular, the changes that occur in the surroundings can also be monitored and evaluated. The presented paper displays the results (outputs) of the students and their subjective assessment of this method. In general, the method is very well received, especially in the locality of their residence, as they know this area the most, and thanks to Guerilla geography, they discover new ways of perceiving the local landscape.
