Description The research presented here reflects on teaching in immersive virtual reality (VR). The research focused on describing the benefits and limitations of the technology used from the perspective of teachers. The aim of the research was to identify the potential of VR technology for practicing different pedagogical situations in a safe environment with the possibility of repetition, reflection and extension of teachers’ professional training with this technology. Training in VR led to a reduction of uncertainty and a better assessment of one’s own pedagogical competence.
