Citation
Description Death is a necessary part of human existence. Its perception is deeply embedded in the culture, religion and sociological aspects of the given society. The meaning and interpretation of death can be influenced by factors such as social values, family structures, globalization, access to education or current events in the world. Art education, as one of the means of narratives, reflects the dominant discourse of the time and culture. The authors focus on how art education narratives reflect the current media image of death and how death is depicted in modern and traditional children's literature and in contemporary art.
