Description | Each pupil comes from a certain home environment, which influences both his socialization into society and the choice of educational path, as well as the educational process together with the results and effects of learning. These factors further influence its application in work or personal life. The home environment, i.e. the family environment, which has these strong formative effects, is conditioned, among other things, by the economic, social and cultural situation of the given family, which can be identified through socio-economic status. Therefore, the contribution identifies the connection of socio-economic status to education and learning outcomes through the analysis of available materials, especially from the field of research focused on achieved educational results, such as PISA, but also other sources. Based on these findings, it subsequently identifies potential problems and problematic situations in education. |
