Description For several years, interdisciplinary literary reception research has been addressing the topic of censorship processes, which have recently been taken up as negotiation processes in the context of literary communication (Šámal 2015; Hrabal 2014). In the following lecture, various negotiation strategies that emerge at the level of paratexts will be presented as part of a more extensive case study on the reception of texts by Group 47 in Czechoslovakia. The presentation will summarize the speaker's previous studies on the reception of the most important figures of Group 47 (Böll, Grass, Handke, Andersch, etc.) and use them as a basis for further considerations. The aim of this lecture is therefore to describe the history of the reception of the authors of Group 47 and, above all, to point out similarities, insofar as these can be found, and differences in the reception of the respective authors, whereby the complexity of the literary reception processes and the diverse networking between individual actors who participate in literary communication in a totalitarian literary industry become the focus of reception research.
