| Description | "For about twenty years, there has been a wide use of electronic language corpora. However, they have hardly made their way into classrooms (see Fandrych 2021, Káňa 2023). For about a year now, there has been a broad use of artificial intelligence. Not even its implementation, but just the mere idea of what it can do, caused panic in the teachers' rooms. The article takes a look at how both tools can be used meaningfully and complementarily in teacher education and language teaching. It also serves as a starting point for discussion and exchange of experiences with the use of corpus data and text bots. |
