Description Stereotypes regarding artistic creation rooted in early childhood are often resistant to the changes that can be brought in the form of knowledge by the professional training of teachers. Returning to childhood, which left us not only artefacts from art education classes but also a whole range of experiences, can bring us closer to the relationship or make us aware of our own motives for the current approach to art or creative work. Also, the images, stories, characters, songs, rituals, and myths of popular culture give our lived experiences a firmer shape. The visuality of the past evokes memories. The exhibition presents the creative outputs of the students of the Teaching program for the 1st grade of elementary school from the practical seminar Art and creation (autumn 2023), which touch on the concept of returning to childhood in connection with the art technique "stencils" or the creation of comics. The exhibition is also one of the outputs research aimed at investigating the influence of stereotypes rooted in early childhood on artistic creation and the possibilities of their transformation through the professional training of teachers. The outputs point to the importance of visual and narrative reflection in teacher training, especially when working with stereotypes that influence creative approaches in art education.
