Description Creating the correct idea of the number zero is one of the important moments in the mathematics curriculum. The subject of interest of a number of professional articles by many educational researchers was to show that not only students, but also teachers in the preparatory phase of their studies and teachers themselves often have misconceptions about the number zero or insufficient knowledge, which can be the cause of inappropriate or incorrect introduction of zero in mathematics teaching.
