Description This review study maps seven research investigations into teachers' approaches to learners with heterogeneous language repertoires. As the Czech Republic has not paid as much attention to this topic, the selected studies come from different foreign countries. It seems that there is a shift from monolingual thinking to the possibility of using multiple languages during one lesson.
