Description Organisation of a workshop with the lecturer Linda Raule from the Theatre of the Oppressed Vienna. This interactive workshop offers a space to reflect on the role of the social educator through the method of the Theatre of the Oppressed. Participants will explore the challenges, dilemmas and dynamics of their profession through theatre techniques, focusing on themes of power, inequality and social justice. Through Active Engagement and working with real-life situations, participants will gain a new perspective on their own practice, the opportunity to share experiences and explore alternative approaches to problem solving. The workshop promotes critical reflection, empathy and creativity, which are crucial for the work of a social educator. TO VIENNA – using Theater of the Oppressed methods for Social Change TO Vienna is one of the most experienced NGOs in Austria for Theatre of the Oppressed (TO). This is body-focused, resistant and power-critical theater pedagogy. The aim of our participatory and educational work is to create dialog and commitment to a fairer world. Our work starts with our everyday life together. And we prioritize the empowerment of oppressed and marginalized groups in society and the associated community work. Our focus is on feminism, climate justice and precarious work. More: www.tdu-wien.at
