Description More than 32% of diplozoids from the gills of riffle minnow from Vlara River showed abnormalities of attachment clamps. In the present preliminary analysis, the ecological characters of sampling site were measured and accumulation of heavy metals (Cd, Pb, Ni, Cr and Cu)was determined in the water, sediment, host tissue and parasite tissue.
