Description | We study hydrogen line broadening in the EPR spectrum in the afterglow of microwave discharge in hydrogen with small amount of oxygen admixture.A strong increase of the hydrogen EPR line width and concentration of H atom with increasing amount of oxygen in the discharge was observed. The possible explanation of both phenomena is the transfer of energy from metastables to dissociation of hydrogen molecules, which results in suprathermal H atoms. |
