Description The digital landscape model (DLM) is at least the 3D computer generated scheme of a landscape segment presenting its basic structural (and dynamic) features in a generalised but integrated form. DLM consists of the digital terrain model, the integrated natural features database in one layer as a natural landscape map, and the integrated human impacts database in a layer as an interpreted land use map. The operational expert system represents the fourth dimension and serves the various modelling operations.
