Description A child suffering from chronic disorder presents not only a significant medical but also educational and pedagogical problem. Looking for a suitable approach in the position of a doctor, parent or teacher requires a lot of experiences, human approach and enough professional information. International project TIMSIS maps opinions and need of parents and teachers in some European countries via questionnaire. The results of research show that teachers (except from Finland) need more information about medical aspects of the disorders. They would appreciate relevant literature, especially about educational needs of such ill children and psychological sites of the investigated area. Teachers would also welcome some support about how to inform other classmates suitably, then information about home education of the affected pupil and about better communication with parents and other teachers. What is helpful is cooperation between teachers from common schools with the teachers from hospital school. There is a need to provide such informative sources for teachers as a group of children suffering from chronic disorders is highly represented.
