| Description | The resettlement of the areas along the border of the Bohemian Lands is undoubtedly one of the subsequent settlement of Slavs. Both precesses were closely linked, and were predominantly run by the people not involved in agricultural, that is to say,the arrival of workers employees, shopkeepers, and tradesmen, in the bordelands, has largely remained beyond the focus of historians. This chapter discusses three areas of the process in its initial phase: the time scale, the formation of a central coordinating organ, and the first steps in implementing the policy. |
