Description | Current changes within the Czech school and its curriculum inspire a shift of focus towards the issue of quality. Quality in education becomes one of the key aims mentioned in strategic documets in the Czech Republic and in Europe. The authors elaborated on the theoretical and methodological basis for the monitoring and evaluation of quality of curriculum as well as instruction in the context of school education in the Czech Republic and also developed or adapted adequate diagnostic tools. Topics dealt with in the book include nonverbal elements in textbooks, opportunities to learn, crosscurricular topics and the structuring of educational content in curricular documents. |
