Description | In recent years, the wealth of Arabidopsis and Brassica genomic resources along with newly established tools and techniques fostered the unprecedented progress in phylogenetics and genomics of crucifers. A new generation of comparative genetic, cytogenetic, and genomic studies as well as whole-genome sequencing projects unveil general principles of karyotype and genome evolution in Brassicaceae. |
