Description The poster presentation deals with new demands and current changes in the teaching profession and the way they are reflected in teacher education. The concepts that will be explored are the concept of reflective teaching practice, teachers as reflective practitioners, knowledge base for teaching and the concept of pedagogical content knowledge. Attention will also be devoted to reflection and selected reflective techniques which facilitate the development of pedagogical content knowledge with student teachers.
