Description | The presentation tries to offer an insight into pre-service teacher training, having namely teachers of English as a foreign language in focus, from the point of view of what kind of knowledge is relevant for their type of study and how the factual and theoretical knowledge they acquire is enacted later on in class. The current concepts of teacher expertise and competence are also discussed. |
