Description The chapter deals with the means of expessing of the social status of killers and their victims in crime reports in the British press. It presents the results of the research into serious and tabloid press, namely murders of children killed by either one of the parents or strangers with focus on the social status, which reinforces particular social views and values accentuated by a particular type of newspaper.
