The main target of this project is the replication of one segment of a Slavic settlement at the archeological base of PdF MU in Znojmo-Hradiště, that will be situated near the original place of this building.
The team of students under the supervision of doc. PhDr. Bohuslav Klíma CSc, whose knowledge will provide the success of this plan, will participace in the project.

Results

The outcome of the project is a first part of a replica of a Slavic early medieval dwelling (earth-house) in the area of the archaeological base of the Faculty of Education in Znojmo – Hradiště. The material for the construction of walls (oak timber) was bought. The participants of the project excavated a basement hole and built foundations. The oak timber was surfaced so that it could be used to make the walls.
