Updating the "Computer Technology" course for the needs of Special Pedagogy

The goal of the project is to update the content and form of the
SP3MK_VT "Computer Technology" course. The students get acquaintant
in computer assistance for people with disabilities regarding their
specific needs according to their handicaps like visual, oral,
mobility, or specific learning disorders.
The original aim and content of the course guaranteed by the
Department of Technical and Information Education was to gain
fundamental knowledge and practical skills in the web page creation
using tags, editors, particularly office-applications (web editors).
The publication of web pages on the Internet with basic concepts and
technology for presentation was another topic. After the change in the
guaranteeing person to one from the Department of Special Pedagogy,
the content is changing towards special pedagogy. Partial update took
place in the Spring term of 2010 but because of the large extent of
the area, it requires even more attention including further reflection
of state-of-the-art.
After additional extensions, the course will be specific particularly
in a sensitive connection of up-to-date knowledge in education of
people with special needs and communication technology.
An adequate online support will be provided for the newly created content.
