The aim of the project was
1. building a network of schools whose teachers would get trained in using LMS Moodle with the vision of creating and sharing their teaching materials in the future;
2. creating 5 e-learning courses, out of which
a) one focused on methodological and technical aspects (introducing ICT into the schools within the environment of LMS Moodle, basic methodology of e-learning, using ICT in specific subjects at schools, training teachers in technical skills so that the schools included in the network could install their own LMS Moodle);
b) creating four language e-larning courses (English, French, German, Russian) that would enable to increase the language skills of the participants of the network and at the same time give them the feeling of online students;
3. creating a well arranged digital library on the basis of LMS Moodle which would serve as a databank of teaching materials and whole courses in the future.

Results

The aims of the project have been reached.
A network of schools has been created in the LMS Moodle environment. The training was attended by 483 participants from 38 schools. The final conference was attended by 62 teachers from 36 institutions.
Five e-learning courses were created, out of which four were language courses and one methodological with technical modules.
Two manuals - one entitled Moodle in the Network and the other one Google at Schools - were published and distributed not only among the schools that are already part of the network, but among other schools willing to use LMS Moodle.
A digital library at http://eldum.phil.muni.cz/ was created where anybody can get an account and work with the materials displayed there.
