In 2010 and 2011 KHV PdF MU (in English Department of Music Education) conducted research in the field of multimedia applications in music education. The conclusions showed, among other things, that their use has considerable reserves in relation to today's possibilities. However, schools are aware of the power of multimedia possibilities in the educational process, and therefore we also noted efforts on their part to significantly strengthen the position of multimedia use in the future. In our opinion, the time that has elapsed since the 2010 and 2011 surveys is so long that it is now time for a new survey to ascertain the current situation and shift in the issues. The result of the submitted grant should be an assessment of the current state of multimedia use in Music Education, its comparison with the situation in 2010 and 2011, a characterization of the development trends and proposals for addressing the issue in the future.
