The project will support research aimed at an identification of attitudes of elementary school teachers towards the integration of hearing-impaired children into regular schools. The project leader will capture the current state of the teachers' knowledge in the area of hearing impairment and potential communication barriers. The data gained within the research will be processed as one of the outputs of the author's dissertation and can be used as a guideline for respective changes in content and/or form of the education of the future teachers, or in the lifelong learning.
