Description The aim of this text is to theoretically anchor the topic of the dissertation "Approaches of Czech Teachers to Teaching English Word Order" in already published foreign research. It first theoretically defines the concept of word order and then the method of data collection for this review study. Nine selected sources are subsequently analyzed and compared in terms of objectives, data collection methods, research sample, and results. The final part of the text describes the direct connection of the findings to the mentioned dissertation.
