10 October marks World Mental Health Day. On this day, the MU Counselling Centre has prepared a Wellbeing day conference for MU students, which will offer an opportunity to learn more about the importance of mental health and ways to take care of your mental well-being and build mental resilience.

During the conference, you will meet with experts (not only) from Masaryk University who will introduce you to self-care options, learn new skills and strategies to cope with challenging situations and find out when it is appropriate to seek help. In the afternoon part of the programme, you will explore different approaches and techniques for promoting wellbeing in a practical way. You will meet other students and share your experiences. You can also look forward to a competition for university merch and refreshments.
On Thursday, 27 March 2025, the Faculty of Education of Masaryk University hosted a celebration to mark Teachers' Day. Its highlight was the traditional presentation of the Teacher of the Year award, which the faculty gives to outstanding male and female graduates working in various fields of education.
In an interview with a lecturer from the Department of English Language and Literature PED MUNI Mgr. Petra Pasalov, we learn how picture books can transform English language teaching, how these books promote active communication among students, and how they can be used effectively to develop language skills and motivate future teachers.
