On December 4, 2019, the Faculty of Education of Masaryk University sent an Endorsement letter to the European Commission, a commitment from the Faculty accepting the Charter and the Code principles, and launched the application process for obtaining HR Excellence in Research Award ("HR Award"). European Commission awards research institutions that take excellent care of employees. HR Excellence in Research Award is a guarantee of the European standard of excellent employee care, open, transparent, and merit-based recruitment, and the quality of the work environment for researchers.
On March 12, 2021, the European Commission postponed evaluating the submitted materials and possible logo awarding.
On April 23, 2021, the European Commission granted the Faculty of Education the HR Excellence in Research Award certification. Faculty moved to the next Implementation phase of the HR Award process (2-year period), where we set up procedures to enhance working conditions and implement the approved Action Plan activities. In April 2023, the team HR Award with the faculty's leadership evaluated the progress made and created a new 3-year HR strategy. All documents were submitted to the European Union for evaluation. On 19.7.2023, the European Commission confirmed the status of the HR Award Embedded.
