Programme 1. Assistantships and traineeships
The programme focuses on supporting the development of students' specialist and professional competencies. It offers funding internships at Faculty academic and non-academic premises.
Subrogramme 1.A Assistant professional activities at the faculty's workplaces
The purpose of the programme is to develop students' professional competencies that are part of theoretical and practical focus of the given Faculty worksite.

The application with proper justification is submitted electronically in the MU Economic and Administrative Information System (INET) by the head of a department, institute or non-academic workplace.
Subprogramme 1.B Professional internship at the faculty
The purpose of the programme is the systematic development of students' professional and vocational competences related to the focus of their studies through long-term internships at academic and non-academic workplaces of the MU Faculty of Arts.

Application for scholarship is filed by the head of the workplace via Document Office in the IS MU 6 weeks prior to the planned beginning of the internship at the latest .
Programme 2. Supporting outstanding learners
The programme supports outstanding students. The financial subsidy is aimed at Bachelor and Master programme students who attain outstanding results and talented students of the regular form of PhD studies.
Subprogramme 2.A Achievement scholarship for outstanding students
The subprogramme focus is to support and incentivise students who attained outstanding learning outcomes in the previous academic year.

Students do not apply for the scholarship, they will be selected on the basis of the criteria entered in the MU Information System.
Subprogramme 2.B Support for talented students in doctoral programmes
The purpose of the programme is to support exceptionally talented students of doctoral study programmes of the Faculty of Education and to create financial conditions for their full involvement in excellent research tasks.

The scholarship application is submitted electronically by the student via the MU IS Document Office twice a year, on June 1 and December 1.
The scholarship is awarded for 6 months. Prior to this term (in case of interest to continue paying out the scholarship) the students files another application. The repeated application is accompanied by a completed form "Interim Report on the Performance of Research Activities under the Scholarship Programme 2.B - Support for Talented Students in Doctoral Programmes.“
Programme 3. Support for international mobility of students
The programme offers financial support to students who want to take a study stay or a work experience in the form of an internship abroad as part of their studies.
Subprogramme 3.A Support for mobility of students under Erasmus+
The purpose of the programme is to support the international mobility of Erasmus+ students. The scholarship is intended to finance living costs and travel expenses associated with a stay abroad in selected European countries. Mobility is defined as a study or work placement abroad of at least 60 days.

The students applies for the scholarship electronically via the MU IS Office at least 6 weeks prior to planned departure.

Subprogramme 3.B Support for study visits and practical placements outside the Erasmus+ programme
The purpose of the programme is to support the international mobility of students in the form of study stays or practical placements outside the Erasmus+ programme. The aim of the scholarship programme is to motivate students to undertake stays in foreign institutions that are directly related to the subject of study (project, research project, grant, etc.) and thanks to which they will deepen their academic competences or practical experience.

Students apply for the scholarship electronically via the MU IS Office at least 6 weeks before their planned departure for study/work placement.

Subprogramme 3.C Support for study stays and practical internships of doctoral students
The purpose of the programme is to support the international mobility of PhD candidates in the form of study abroad pertaining closely to their subject of doctoral studies that would enhance their academic competence or practical experience.

The student will apply using Document Officer of IS MU at least 8 weeks before the planned departure to study/work stay.
In the case of 3.B and 3.C scholarships, it is possible to pay 80% of the approved sum in advance. However, the student must apply for such advance by email, stating the reference number of the application and the request to pay out advance to hooperova@ped.muni.cz.
Upon scholarship (3. B and 3. C subprogrammes) award and having undertaken the stay abroad, it is essential to settle the expenses (see the link below with instructions) and deliver to the Economic department - mail box by the mailroom (addressed to Lenka Chládková).

Programme 4: Student activities - Fulfilling the Social Role of the University
The programme intends to support students whose activities represent the faculty and MU in public and/or through their (unpaid) activities beyond their study obligations, make a significant contribution to helping children, young people or adults with social disadvantages or long-term adverse health conditions.
Subprogramme 4.A Representation of the Faculty and the University
The purpose of the programme is to support students whose activities represent the faculty and MU in various areas (e.g. musical performances, exhibitions, participation in competitions, sporting events, "buddy" for foreign students, etc.).

The application is submitted electronically by the head of the department via the Office in the IS MU twice a year, on 31 January and 30 September.The application contains a plan of activities for which the scholarship fund is to be used in a given semester, including the planned budget and proper justification. The application need not be submitted if the total use of the scholarship at the workplace does not exceed CZK 5 000 per month. The allocation of the scholarship is decided by the Vice Dean* for Quality and Student and Alumni Affairs on the basis of the recommendation of the PdF MU management.

Suprogramme 4.B Pedagogical and humanitarian activities
The purpose of the programme is to support students who, through their (unpaid) activities beyond their study obligations, make a significant contribution to helping children, young people or adults with social disadvantages or long-term adverse state of health.

The application with proper justification is submitted by the head of the department or institute in the MU Economic and Administrative Information System (INET).
Subprogramme 4.C: Support for student activities
The purpose of the programme is to support student societies and activities organised by students that are related to their subject of study or the long-term aim of the Faculty and represent the Faculty in public (e.g. lectures, discussions, educational events for students and the public, exhibitions, theatre performances, etc.).

The application for a scholarship with the proposed amount of the scholarship and proof of professional guarantee is submitted electronically (by e-mail) to the chairperson or chairperson of the PdF MU Student Activities Support Committee at stud.aktivity@ped.muni.cz at least 8 weeks before the date of the event.

Programme 5. Research activities and presentation of the results of students' creative activities
The scholarship offers support to students who actively participate at a conference with their research project. The programme also supports students not studying for an assistent/teacher of a foreign language and decide to compile their final thesis in a foreign language.
Subprogramme 5.A: Presentation of the results of creative activities of students
The aim of the suprogram is to financially support active participation of students in Czech and foreign professional events (conferences, congresses, workshops, seminars, etc.).

Application for scholarship is filed used the Document Office in the IS MU, 6 weeks prior to the event at the latest.
In case of the 5. A subprogramme 80% of the approved sum can be given in advance. Students must ask for this advance by e-mail stating the reference number of the approved scholarship and information they apply for an advance at hooperova@ped.muni.cz.

Scholarship settlement instructions Realistic accounting for travel costs
Once the (subprogramme 5A) scholarship was approved and the stay abroad took place, it is essential to settle the expenses (see the reference with instructions below) and deliver to the Economic Department - mail box by the mail room (addressed to Ms. Lenka Chládková).
Subprogramme 5.B: Support for the preparation of foreign language theses
The purpose of the programme is to support theses written in a foreign language, with the exception of theses written in foreign language departments. The scholarship is intended to improve the linguistic quality of the work (typically proofreading).

The application is filed by the student electronically via Document Office in the IS MU by March 31st or alternativelly October 31st in the academic year the thesis is defended.
