HR Award Interim Assessment - Result

The European Commission has confirmed the HR Award to the Faculty of Education. The Faculty has successfully met the certification conditions and the HR strategy set (Revised Action Plan 2023-2025) is in line with the principles of the European Commission.

Invitation: Brunch for early-stage female researchers

NKC Gender and Science is hosting a Brunch for early-stage female researchers. Eva Brichtová, Deputy Head of the Neurosurgery Clinic at Masaryk University Faculty of Medicine, will speak at the event. The event will take place on 16 August 2023 in Villa Lanna.

The event will be held in the Czech language.

HR Award Interim Assessment

In April 2023, the MU Faculty of Education sent a self-evaluation report to the European Commission reflecting the progress of implementing the HRM strategy since 2019. FeD MU will wait for the evaluator's decision.

Invitation: UniSAFE's YouTube channel

The UniSAFE project has launched its own YouTube channel where its videos and related videos from sister projects and other initiatives will be posted. A live webinar on creating awareness campaigns on gender-based violence is planned for next week.

Preparing for the Interim Assessment - HR Award

The start of the academic year brings with it another important milestone − the Interim Assessment. The Faculty has to prepare a report by 23.4.2023, which will evaluate the implementation of the activities carried out by FEd MU within the HR Award.

Is the change recognizable?

The Faculty of Education is approaching another HR Award milestone - the Internal Assessment of the two-year Implementation Phase of the project. During this period, we have been aligning HR processes with the Charter and Code, enhancing working conditions, and mapping out future areas for development. To spread awareness of the innovations as widely as possible, to communicate the outputs of the project, and to discover how our employees perceive progress, we conducted an anonymous survey.

MU Open Science Strategy

Masaryk University has approved a strategic document - a comprehensive concept for implementing the Open Science Strategy at Masaryk University for the years 2022-2028. The strategy includes action plans that contain specific steps necessary for effectively applying the strategy. The principles of Open Science are an integral part of the research process and the infrastructure of MU services; the aim is to improve the quality of scientific research and promote systemic change.
